Michael J. Marino is a Partner and Executive Vice President with Senn-Delaney Leadership, joining the firm in 1992 with over 25 years of experience as an executive and consultant on domestic and international management. Mike is a recognized expert in corporate culture, organization development, team and leadership development.
Prior to joining Senn-Delaney Leadership, Mike spent more than 10 years as an executive at Chase Manhattan Bank. During his tenure at Chase he served as a senior Human Resources Executive for the Asia-Pacific Region, helped establish the Chase-AMP Bank of Australia and served as Country Manager of Consumer Banking for Chase Thailand. He developed strategic plans for Chase Consumer Banking in Japan, Thailand and Malaysia and spearheaded the Manpower Planning and Development group for the Chase Metropolitan Community Bank in New York.
In 1990, he accepted the position of VP of Administration for Sunkyong America, a $1 Billion unit of SK, the Korean conglomerate. Mike built the HR, Logistics and Administration function for SK America and led the implementation of the SK Management System. SKMS was a first ever corporate culture initiative for the company.
At Senn-Delaney Leadership, Mike has helped establish client concentrations in the Financial Services and Pharmaceutical industries. He has also contributed to the development of the International business strategy for the firm. He leads engagements as a Strategic Account Leader for a cross-section of clients and serves as a consultant on Culture Change and as a coach for senior executives and their teams. Mike received his BA in History from New York University and a Master of Counseling Education from the University of Virginia. Mike lives in Manhattan with his wife Cooper and enjoys performing as a part-time musician, practicing yoga and enjoying the cultural offering of New York City. |
