Mike Leatherman was named senior vice president of Business Development in September 2006. Leatherman is responsible for all five of First National Merchant Solutions' sales channels, and assists in the development and execution of the organization's long-term business development strategies. Leatherman previously was director of Corporate Administration for First National Bank of Omaha with responsibility for commercial lending operations, credit administration and credit analysis. During his tenure at First National, Leatherman also served as director of Corporate Banking and team leader of Corporate Banking. A 16-year veteran within the financial industry, he also has held several business development and senior management positions within Fifth Third Bancorp, General Electric Capital and Robert Half International, Inc. Leatherman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance, banking and corporate communications from Buena Vista University. He serves on the boards of Camp Fire USA and American Lung Association
