Mike Kowalski joined Sunflower in 2004 with more than 30 years experience working in Finance and Administration with high tech hardware and software manufacturers. His skills, leadership and attention to detail have enabled the companies he works with to thrive and, in many cases, grow their revenues and profits significantly during his tenure. Prior to joining Sunflower, Kowalski was a consulting CFO for clients of The Brenner Group, Management Consultants. While at The Brenner Group, he assisted clients in raising over $60 million in private equity and debt, turned cash flow at one client from a burn rate of $30 million annually to neutral within six months while installing new and realistic cash-flow-based budgeting systems.He has held CFO, Vice President of Finance and Controller positions for such companies as Seagate Technology, Censtor Corporation, Western Digital and Maxtor Corporation. Kowalski holds a Masters of Business Administration in finance and accounting from Stanford University, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Harvard University.
