Mike Joined FluidIQs in 2006 after a successful 29 year career with Bechtel, a large engineering design, construction, and project management Company. Mike started his career with Bechtel in Nuclear construction in the quality control department and then moved into project controls as a manager before taking on site management in 1985 for large power plant projects. In 1996 he took on the role of Construction Manager for Bechtel's Mining and Metals projects and spear headed an effort that improved labor cost by modularization of large components on large international projects. He later worked with the President of Mining and Metals in support of the business line's reorganization to align itself with Bechtel's other companies. Mike then took a role as regional and market management for Bechtel Communications in 2000. He streamlined the market organization and established "areas of responsibility" for each of the departments, to better support communication and understanding of each department's and individual's responsibilities. His career with Bechtel came to a close with a role as Special Projects Manager working directly for the president of Bechtel Construction, where he was responsible for the Critical Path, Piping and Mechanical work, on a critical $800M+ power project.
