Mike Koehler is executive vice president of Global ITO Services which comprises Regional Operations (Americas Asia Pacific and EMEA) Service Delivery Operations U.S. Government Solutions and the Navy Marine Corps Intranet account. These organizations ensure end-to-end delivery to clients anywhere in the world and are responsible for accelerating quality productivity and best practice initiatives by capitalizing on EDS' scale and efficiencies. Koehler works side-by-side with regional leadership and sales teams to ensure EDS' investments and resources directly support clients' needs and drive the company's growth priorities. He is a member of the company's Executive Committee and reports directly to Chairman President and CEO Ron Rittenmeyer.
Previously he was senior vice president of EMEA Operations responsible for the end-to-end delivery to all EDS clients across the Europe Middle East and Africa region which includes service contractual and financial performance and sales.
Koehler served as enterprise client executive (ECE) for EDS' Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) account. NMCI the world's largest federal government information technology (IT) contract is an enterprisewide managed service that ultimately will provide the U.S. Department of the Navy and Marine Corps secure and universal access to voice video and data information exchange for more than 360 000 desktops at over 300 locations across the United States and sites in Cuba Japan and Puerto Rico. Combined with secure wireless access NMCI will help enable the Navy and Marine Corps to realize the vision of conducting net centric warfare. As NMCI's ECE Koehler reported directly to the chief operating officer of EDS and provided account progress reports to the EDS Board of Directors. In addition Koehler was responsible for the overall customer experience and all day-to-day activities of this account.
