Mike Karst joined LSI in October 2003. He has been working in information technology since 1969 and has served the financial services industry for nearly 20 years. Karst had been an IT manager at a large company prior to forming his own IT consulting company in 1980. In 1986, his company was engaged by Stewart Associates, Inc. (SAI) to develop a proprietary insurance tracking system. Subsequently, in 1988, Karst joined SAI as director of data processing where he remained until the sale of SAI in 1998. Karst continued at SAI in that capacity after its acquisition until October 2003 when he joined LSI as vice president of systems and technology. His background is especially suited to LSI as he developed the platform for LSI's original LOS when the company was started in 1994. |
