Mr. Holmes brings more than 17 years of sales management experience to his role as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. Prior to Redfern Broadband Networks, Mr. Holmes was the Vice President of Sales at Imperva helping to establish a new market category and becoming the leader in the data center security market. During his tenure, he executed a sales plan leading to over 100 customers and ramping revenue from $0 to a run rate of $10m. Before Imperva, Mr. Holmes was vice president of worldwide sales at Cloudshield Technologies where he built the company's sales organization, secured strategic partnerships focused on building security solutions for government customers, and introduced the company's first OEM partner. Before Cloudshield, Mr. Holmes managed CIENA Corp.'s China operations, where he developed new business opportunities, stabilized the company's China partnership strategy, and built a comprehensive in-country support program. Under his leadership, the division grew from zero customer revenue to more than $10 million in one year. Mr. Holmes joined CIENA following that company's acquisition of ONI Systems, where, as Director of Sales, he helped grow revenue by $75 million over three years to take ONI from a private company through IPO and a $700 million acquisition. Mr. Holmes has also held management and sales positions at Cisco Systems, 3Com Corp. and SBC. He has a B.S.B.A degree in finance from the University of Denver and an MBA from American University. |
