Michael Hill is currently consulting to manufacturing and technology companies in the areas of corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic and financial planning. From 1996 to 2003, Michael was a founding partner of Acumen Capital Finance Partners, a Calgary-based investment dealer specializing in providing financing and advisory services to small market capitalization technology and industrial companies. While at Acumen, Michael assisted approximately 30 public and private companies raise over $500 million in equity capital. Michael has also assisted companies in various advisory capacities including mergers and acquisitions, shareholder maximization, fairness opinions and valuations. Prior to joining Acumen Capital Partners, Michael worked for Nova Corporation where he was involved in the start-up of a new business unit, corporate strategic planning, technology management, engineering and research and development.
Michael has an MBA from The University of Western Ontario and a BSc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta.
