As principal-in-charge, Mr. Harrington heads the construction division in the northeast. His current projects in West Warwick, Rhode Island include the Royal Mill Ace Dye building, where he is in charge of the historic renovation and conversion of a dyeing mill into residential living space with parking, and Royal Mills, where he was in charge of the historic restoration of a granite mill into residential living space, including the reactivation of an on-site hydroelectric plant. At Royal Mills Condos, Mr. Harrington is responsible for the renovation and conversion of 76 residential units within the historic structure listed above. At 60 Valley Street in Providence, Rhode Island, he oversees the conversion of an abandoned mill into residential and commercial space a process that includes site remediation and clean up. Mr. Harrington is a Rhode Island registered contractor, serves as director of the Rhode Island Builders Association, and is on the building technology committee at Roger Williams University. He is also an honorary chair of the Warwick Boys and Girls Club and is a regular donor to the American Heart Association and Rhode Island Food Bank. |
