Mike Hamza has over 35 years of experience in financial management and joined Knight in 1984. Mike has extensive experience overseeing Knight's business performance and strategic growth initiatives and is responsible for the overall financial management of the company. His responsibilities include financial reporting, corporate and strategic development and the company's customer-financing activities. Mike has been actively involved in negotiations and structuring several Knight acquisitions and the formation of partnerships and corporations. Mike also has responsibility for the administrative, human resources, safety and information technology departments. Mike has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. He began his career in the Cleveland office of the big 8 accounting firm Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young). His notable professional affiliations include the American Institute of CPA's and the Louisiana Society of CPA's. He is a licensed CPA in Louisiana and Ohio and has previously served on the Louisiana Society's Federal Taxation and Private Industry Committees. Mike has also been active in the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, Jaycees and United States Pony Clubs, Inc. |
