Mike Gutierrez is one of the top sports autograph authenticators in the sports memorabilia business. Mike has over 25 years experience and is one of the few universally respected authorities left standing in a field racked with fraud and forgeries. Mike has authenticated for some of the biggest sports memorabilia companies in the world including the likes of Sotheby's Butterfield & Butterfield and Robert Edward Auctions. He also has reviewed material for dozens of individual sport memorabilia collections. Most notably he authenticated autograph items from the Barry Halper Collection sold by Sotheby's. Additionally he handled all the memorabilia from The Bruce Lee Estate and appraised The Pete Rozelle Estate. Currently Mike is working as an autograph authentication consultant for PSA/DNA.
