Mike Guerin is Managing Director of Pacific. In this role he is responsible for ANZ's total banking service in 11 Pacific countries where it is the leading bank in the South Pacific and one of the largest businesses in the region. ANZ's business in the Pacific has grown substantially and has been a consistent performer over recent years, now producing more than $90m in net profit per annum. Several acquisitions have helped to broaden our Pacific presence and to grow our customer numbers. Prior to this role, Mike was Managing Director of Regional and Rural Banking Australia, responsible for the provision of consumer, small business and agribusiness banking products and services for customers in regional and rural communities. Mike joined ANZ in 1989 and has held a variety of roles, including Regional Manager Auckland, National Manager of Small to Medium Business New Zealand and General Manager of UDC Finance. He was appointed Head of Rural Banking Australia in April 2002. Mike holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma of Banking.
