With over 30 years of engineering and engineering management experience, Mike Grady joins Reva from Chinook Communications, a start-up developing silicon based physical-layer data transmission technology, where he served as Vice President of Engineering. Prior to Chinook, Grady was the CEO and co-founder of Argon Networks, a developer of high-performance core routers, where he lead the research and development of advanced hardware, software and custom ASICs. Argon was acquired in 1999 by a unit of Siemens and has subsequently been acquired by Juniper Networks. Prior to founding Argon, Grady was the Senior VP of Engineering at Bay Networks, a company formed by the merger of SynOptics and Wellfleet Communications. While at Wellfleet, Grady built an engineering team from 60 to over 400 highly talented engineers and managers. Earlier in his career, Grady was a founding engineer at Stratus Computer, and prior to that held positions as a software engineer and manager at Honeywell in the Multics Project at MIT. Grady holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. |
