As Colle+McVoy's executive creative director, Mike has the ability to see the creative potential in anyone and everyone, and then wring every single ounce of it out of them like water out of a wet rag. "I think that everybody is creative," he says. "I don't believe them when they say they aren't." With this ethos, Mike challenges his fellow creatives to dig deeper, take risks and, perhaps most important, have fun while doing it.
How do you encourage people to be creative? "By asking people to be a part of things that, mentally and physically, help them grow," says Mike. Driving an ambitious effort to discover unconventional and alluring ways to penetrate the market, Mike has won numerous industry awards and helped brands flourish such as Porsche, Formica, Cool from Nestea, Red Wing Shoes, Minnesota State Lottery, United Airlines and Holiday Inn Express.
On a personal note: In an alternative life, Mike would be a bike messenger in New York City by day and a graffiti artist by night. |
