Mike Ferrara leads Red Condor’s advanced development team, which targets next-generation technologies and platforms. He has more than 20 years experience in the electronics and networking industries. Mike is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a strong background in microwave circuit design and RF electromagnetics. His accomplishments have included GaAs MMIC design, RF/uW spectrum analyzer design, embedded controller designs, DSP software, and circuit simulation software for Hewlett-Packard Co’s test and measurement operations (now Agilent Technologies); An OC-192 (10Gb/s) line card for Cerent Co and Cisco Systems; and network processor hardware as well as Unix kernel development for Caymas Systems Inc, a network security product vendor. His interests range from numerical mathematical techniques for RF circuit simulation to network packet processing and security to Unix kernel issues. |
