Mike Davis, Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for 7-Eleven, Inc., is principally responsible for supervision of the company’s franchise related legal matters and the Legal Department’s Franchise Practice Group reports to him.
In addition, the Franchise Accountability Department reports to Mike and he also supervises the company’s outsourced International Counsel and Intellectual Property Counsel.
Mike joined 7-Eleven in 1976 as a Staff Attorney. He was promoted to Assistant General Counsel in 1979. He was next promoted to Vice President and Assistant General Counsel in April 2001. Mike also had operational responsibility for the Franchise Department from March 1998 to April 2000. He has been very active in various franchise law related groups, including the Dallas Bar Association, the American Bar Association Forum Committee on Franchising, the International Franchise Association. |
