Mr. Crompton joined Micrus in October 2006 as our Vice President, Regulatory/Clinical Affairs & Quality. From June 2005 to October 2006 he was a consultant to medical device companies, including the position as Vice President, Regulatory/Clinical Affairs and Quality Assurance at Spinal Kinetics, Inc., a medical device company. From October 2002 to June 2005, he served as the Vice President, Regulatory/Clinical Affairs/Quality Assurance & Chief Compliance Officer for Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc., a medical device company. From December 2000 to September 2002 he was the Vice President, Regulatory/Clinical Affairs and Quality Assurance at CryoVascular Systems, Inc., a medical device company. From May 1996 to November 2000 he was the Vice President, Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance at Symphonix Devices, Inc., a medical device company. Mr. Crompton received his bachelors degree in biochemistry and a M.P.H. in biomedical sciences from the University of California at Berkeley. He received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. |
