Mike Carter is the President of Select Media Services. He has been with SMS since the company began in 1997. Mike started with The News Group (Select Media Services’ sister company) in 1991. He earned his BA from Georgia Southern University and is a member of the prestigious executive organization Vistage International, Inc. Prior to his position as President of Select Media Services, he was a Route Sales Driver, Account Executive, and the Director of the Specialty Retail Division for The News Group. When the Specialty Retail Division of The News Group became Select Media Services in 1997, Mike was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing, then Senior Vice President and General Manager, and ultimately the President of the Company. Mike has been married to his wife, Stephanie since 2000 and enjoys all things outdoors such as mountain biking, road biking, hiking, camping, fishing, and working in the yard. He also enjoys yoga, and has recently begun racing bikes. He is involved in a church plant in his neighborhood and is actively concerned about the environment. |
