Mike Braml has over 30 years of manufacturing and management experience including strategic planning and execution, product and process design, lean enterprise, change management, and project and materials management. He began his career in Process, Manufacturing and Plant Support at a company in the high tech computer industry. He has worked in many manufacturing industries including Product Design and Management for a metals fabrication firm; mobile equipment company, a General Manager and President for a woodworking manufacturer. He has also worked in public education including Project Manager, Grants Public Funding, and Program Design for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. Currently Mr Braml is a Field Specialist with Minnesota Technology, Inc.Mr Braml holds his Bacholors of Sciencc in Biology and Scientific Land Management Biology from the University of Wisconson and his Masters of Business Administration from Kennedy Western University. He is a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS the Association of Operations Management. He holds certifications from Muther Associates in Systematic Layout Planning, Central New York Technology Development Organization, Inc. (TDO) in Training within Industry (TWI) Instruction and NIST MEP in Lean 101 and 5S. He has also received related training in manufacturing and supplier systems, supply chain management, distribution, capital justification, plan development and implementation, value stream mapping, plant layout, kaizen events, and lean culture. Mr Braml is a member of the Society of Mechanical Engineers, Institute of Industrial Engineers, and APICS Association of Operations Management. |
