Mike Baugh enters his third season with the Dolphins following a five-year stint (2000-04) as a pro scout with the New Orleans Saints.
Overall, Baugh has 13 years of NFL experience, having started with the Seattle Seahawks as an intern in the team’s public relations department in 1992 and the personnel department in 1993. He then served as an administrative assistant to head coaches Tom Flores and Dennis Erickson from 1994-96, before moving over to the Seahawks’ personnel department in 1997, where he was a scouting assistant that year. In 1998, he was named manager of football administration, and in his final year with Seattle (1999) served as assistant director of pro scouting.
Baugh graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in business administration. He and his wife, Christine, have a daughter, Hannah, and a son, Brett. |
