Mike joined Greenplum following a 15-year career in finance at Silicon Valley software companies. Most recently, Mike was CFO at Newscale, where he was responsible for raising over $50 million in venture funding from top firms and supporting the needs of a customer base that grew from two to over 75 companies, including many Fortune 500 companies. Mike has held executive positions in the finance departments of Octane Software, playing a key role in the company's $3.2 billion acquisition by E.piphany. He also held leadership positions at Gigalabs and Cisco Systems. Mike's strong engineering background includes a five-year tenure at Chevron Corporation in software engineering and project management roles. |
