Mike's career includes more than 15 years of experience in large corporate and early-stage environments spanning the telecommunications, Internet, software, private equity and financial services industries. Prior to GotVoice, Mike was co-founder and chief operating officer of Fly Fashions, a designer and manufacturer of consumer products for companies including T-Mobile, Superior Communications, Sony Ericsson, Motorola and AT&T Wireless. Before this, he served as a vice president at Washington Mutual, where he was responsible for managing the company’s $150 million venture capital fund. Earlier in his career, Mike founded Sound Design Group to provide senior level consulting services to early-stage technology companies including Mobliss, Terabeam, Match.com, NavTeq and Convergence Corporation. Prior to this, he was a corporate program manager at Telephone and Data Systems, a Fortune 500 company with wireless and landline telecommunications operations in 36 states. Mike has also spent time in the media industry working with HomeTeam, a reality TV show based on the American dream of home ownership, and co-produced a TV pilot "American SpeedKing" which set a new NASCAR land speed world record on Independence Day in 2006. Mike also serves as a board member for the Alliance of Angels. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Business and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin. |
