Anderson was a 2-time All-Conference player at the University of Utah, where he finished his 2-year career with the best per-game rushing average in school history (102.4 avg.)...Led the Western Athletic Conference in rushing as a junior with 1,173 yards and 12 TDs on 244 carries (4.8 avg.)...Served as team captain in his senior campaign when he rushed 1,231 yards and 12 TDs on 229 carries (5.4 avg.) to earn All-Mountain West Conference honors...His 254 rushing yards in the 1999 Las Vegas Bowl set a new school record in his final collegiate game and followed a 204-yard outburst on 32 carries (6.4 avg.) in his final regular season game vs. New Mexico...Transferred to Utah from Mt. San Jacinto Community College (San Jacinto, CA), where he was a 2-time JUCO All-American (1996-97) and the team's MVP...Named California State JUCO Offensive Player in 1997 when he rushed for 1,686 yards, following a 1,511-yard season in 1996 that culminated with his team winning the LA Bowl...He was an exercise and sport science major at Utah.
