Mike Allred serves as Executive Vice President in the firm’s Atlanta office. With more than 25 years of experience as a Chief Executive Officer, General Manager and Sales Leader, he focuses on finding senior level executives for a diverse array of domestic and international clients. Prior to joining DHR International, Mr. Allred was a Partner with Highland Partners, where he was a key member of the firm’s Technology and Retail practices. Active in executive search since 1994, Mr. Allred began his career at a large search firm. His recruiting experience spans most aspects of technology, start-up, retailing and eCommerce industries. A significant part of Mr. Allred’s practice is with growth companies focused with a value-added approach. Specific assignments include Board members, Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operations Officers, Presidents, as well as functional areas including general management, sales, information technology, engineering, marketing and human resources. Prior to his career in executive search, Mr. Allred was President/General Manager of EMASS, a mass storage product division of ESystems, President/CEO of VITec, an image processing company, and Vice President of Sales for Recognition Equipment. Mr. Allred built an industry reputation as a turnaround or start-up growth executive. He has served on both industry boards as well as public company boards, specializing in marketing strategies and quality initiatives. He earned both an M.B.A. in Market Research and a B.B.A. in Marketing, with honors, from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
