Miguel Valenzuela is a Vice President focused on buyout investment opportunities. He is based in Mexico City.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Valenzuela was the Director of Compass Capital in Mexico City. There he was responsible for originating, structuring and valuing investment opportunities for the Compass Capital Fund. Prior to that, he was the Director for VA Investments, a private equity firm sponsored by Banco Santander, where he was involved in the sourcing and execution of private equity and mezzanine debt transactions. Before that, he was the Co-Manager of the Emerging Mexico Fund (NYSE:MEF) for Santander Investment. Mr. Valenzuela has been active in private equity and asset management in Mexico for more than 12 years.
Mr. Valenzuela received his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business and his B.A. in business Administration from ITAM in Mexico City. |
