Miguel is a senior consulting actuary in the Madrid office of Milliman’s European insurance practice. He joined Milliman in 2006.
Experience
Miguel started his career in 1986 with La SudAmerica Seguros in its actuarial department. He then moved to Grupo Santander, where he worked for 17 years, first as an actuarial consultant (Santander Noble Lowndes), subsequently pension fund manager (client and marketing area) and later as managing director, employee benefits. Miguel recently had responsibility for the pension and bancassurance business of Grupo Santander throughout Latin America, and also worked as an independent consultant for a brief period before joining Milliman.
Miguel has worked on a variety of consulting missions, including product and distribution development, pension fund valuations, and investment consulting. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
