S. Mignon Mazique has overseen organizational and leadership development at Mercy Corps for the last five years. She is charged with ensuring that the agency maintains a culture notable for innovation, caring and discipline; attracts and retains the best people around the world; and provides its team members with professional development opportunities and the support they need to address structural, behavioral and morale challenges in their work.
Mazique, who holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior from Yale University, also is responsible for the agency's bi-annual leadership conference and serves on the Board of Mercy Enterprise, a community development financial institution within Mercy Corps Northwest.
Mazique has worked as a consultant in leadership and organizational development for more than 20 years, and has taught classes in the subject at the Yale University School of Medicine and the McGill University School of Business. |
