Michelle Zellen Director, Communications and Events Michelle Zellen was named director of communications
and events for Automation Alley in 2005. In this position, she is responsible for developing and coordinating
marketing plans and campaigns to promote Automation Alley to regional, national and international audiences in business, industry and government. Prior to her current position, Zellen served as Automation
Alley’s event manager, coordinating a wide variety of programming throughout the year, including the annual
Awards Gala, attended by 600 of the most influential technology leaders throughout Southeast Michigan.
In addition to her work with Automation Alley, Zellen served as an assistant account executive for Franco Public Relations in Detroit, Mich. In this position, she provided public relations service and support to a wide variety of clients from many industries. Her duties included research, media relations and written communications. Zellen holds a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and a minor in English from Oakland University, in Rochester, Mich. Zellen, a former Automation Alley intern, is a member of ConnecTech, Michigan’s premier network for technology professionals. |
