Ms. Thompson oversees the operations, consulting and drafting of all operations manuals for Francorp clients. In that capacity, she consults with franchisors and potential franchisors on the efficiency of their business systems, often creating and customizing procedures to assist them. She is responsible for ensuring clarity, coherence, and consistency with legal documents in all operations manuals produced by her department. In addition to her understanding of the franchise industry, Ms. Thompson possesses a strong background in the area of Labor and Employment Law. Her experience includes: Writer and Editor for the Labor and Employment Department at CCH, Inc., Editor for CCH's longstanding publication, Labor Law Journal; and Law Clerk for the National Labor Relations Board. Ms. Thompson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Illinois and received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois College of Law. |
