Michelle Strong is director/audience development and national sales at Belo Interactive Media. Strong is responsible for understanding Belo Interactive Media's audiences and marketplaces intimately, and ultimately acquiring the largest share of Interactive users in each of our marketplaces. Additionally, she manages online sales initiatives for national and remnant clients. Strong is directly responsible for all marketing, research, customer service, database marketing, and national sales aspects of Belo Interactive Media. Prior to joining Belo Interactive Media in 2000, Strong began her career as an assistant marketing and promotions director for a St. Louis broadcast radio group, and in 1995 joined Maritz Performance Improvement Company as a communications manager. In 1998, she became the marketing manager for The Children's Museum of Denver where she was responsible for repositioning and branding the museum as an institution specializing in early childhood education. Strong is a graduate of Bradley University with a bachelor's degree in public relations and has a graduate certificate in marketing from Southern Methodist University. She received the Maritz Creative Outstanding Achievement Award in 1996, and has served on several non-profit marketing committees including the St. Louis Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Denver's Scientific Cultural Facilities District. |
