In her role as vice president, Michelle Palmer manages a team of 35 agency employees and directs strategy for the AT&T account across divisions for all sponsorship and entertainment initiatives, including consulting, negotiation, evaluation, property and event management, and activation of music, gaming, television, film, sports, mobile marketing, and talent.
Prior to joining The Marketing Arm in 2000, Palmer worked for SBC Communications (now AT&T) in San Antonio as the corporate manager for wireless advertising. While with AT&T, she developed the strategic direction for wireless advertising for multiple regions and clients, directed and supervised the development of mass media campaigns for Southwestern Bell Wireless, and developed annual advertising plans tailored to meet long- and short-range marketing objectives.
Previously, Palmer worked in account management for Bates Southwest in Houston and GSD&M in Austin.
Palmer earned a master's of arts degree in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor's of science degree in business administration/management from Colorado State University. |
