Michelle has been involved in the creation and distribution of content (aka content marketing) her entire working life. She’s been with Imagination since October 2001 and during most of that time, she managed the production of custom content for a variety of clients and publications. Her favorite project: McDonald’s@50, a pop-culture coffee table book celebrating the golden anniversary of the golden arches.
She also presided over the recent redesign of Imagination’s website, wherein she got a crash course in SEO best practices and web-analytics programs. Her favorite industry conference: SES Chicago for its awesome, practical and in-depth SEO/SEM/analytics information. In addition to Imagination’s website and social media marketing efforts, Michelle also writes Imagination’s Marketing Matters blog and her own Big Shoulders blog.
Before joining Imagination, Michelle worked in a couple of public relations and public affairs agencies, wrote computer hardware reviews for a consumer PC magazine and worked as a reporter for the recreation section of a statewide daily newspaper.
Most important, she’s the mom of two young boys and wife to one Chicago police officer (a very smart detective). She’s also somewhat addicted to social media (and believes Twitter has changed the world for the better) and Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN Radio. |
