Ms. Fisher is an associate in Dykema's litigation department. Ms. Fisher's practice focuses on the representation of a variety of individuals and corporations in areas of commercial litigation, breach of contract, copyright infringement, and violation of trade secret laws, director liability, defamation, fraud, medical malpractice, premise liability and professional malpractice.
Ms. Fisher has experience as trial counsel in state and federal cases and obtained favorable verdicts for both plaintiffs and defendants.
While in law school, Ms. Fisher was a member of the Phillip H. Corboy trial team and fellowship recipient. Her team won the Midwest Championship and competed at the National level. Ms. Fisher received an award for the best closing argument.
Experience
Represented Plaintiff, an international corporation, in cross-border trade secret litigation regarding the manufacturing of cell phone components against Chinese company.
Represented Plaintiff, Board of Directors member, in defamation action.
Defended founding partner and Member of the Board of Directors of a large U.S. healthcare provider against claims of breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and fraud.
Defended large university medical center in medical negligence and wrongful death action.
