Michele Amato is a Quality Control partner at Friedman LLP. With more than 25 years of experience at both national and regional firms, Michele has an extensive background in audit functions, SEC compliance and quality control. She assists a myriad of clients in understanding and complying with SEC rules and regulations, as well as generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Her experieince includes: Reviewing all auditing and accounting reports, related financial statements, and work papers Researching accounting and auditing questions Assisting personnel in applying accounting and auditing pronouncements Michele has extensive experience leading clients through initial public offerings, reverse mergers, private placements, and spin-offs. She is a frequent lecturer on accounting and auditing topics.
