Michele Engelhart leads business development in SRA’s Defense Sector, identifying, qualifying, and bidding on Department of Defense business opportunities. Engelhart has over 22 years of experience in the federal government market. She joined SRA in July 2005 as part of the acquisition of Galaxy Scientific Corporation, where she was Senior Vice President of Corporate Business Development. Under her leadership, the company won contracts including the Army’s Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Rapid Response (CR2) contract and the Federal Aviation Administration’s Multiple Area Support System Engineering Support Services Area contract. She also led the company into work with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Transportation Security Administration, and the U.S. Customs Service.
Engelhart is a member of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC), the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (AFCEA), and the National Defense Industrial Association.
