Michele A. Daitz is counsel to the firm in its Litigation Department and a member of the Labor & Employment Law Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Daitz served as a Deputy Attorney General of the Employment Litigation Section of the State of New Jersey, Division of Law. Prior to working for the state, she served as an associate at other New Jersey law firms focusing on commercial and employment litigation. Ms. Daitz has extensive experience in the field of employment litigation and counseling principally on behalf of management in both the public and private sector. Her litigation experience has been focused on claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, whistle blowing, civil rights violations and workplace torts primarily in federal court. Ms. Daitz has also provided counseling and other litigation prevention strategies to public and private employers. She also has considerable commercial litigation experience involving general business and contract disputes. Ms. Daitz graduated summa cum laude from Seton Hall University (1991) as valedictorian, and received her law degree magna cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law (1994). Ms. Daitz is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. |
