Dr. Izygon brings more than 20 years of experience in software development, including all phases of software development from requirements analysis to architecture, detailed design, implementation, testing, and maintenance to his leadership role with the company.
Prior to founding Tietronix, Dr. Izygon spent three years as a program manager in a Technology Development Contract with the NASA Johnson Space Center. His responsibilities included the management and development of a web-based electronic workflow system aimed at facilitating and automating mission critical processes of NASA's Johnson Space Center. Other assignments also included serving as the main software architect and developer of the Robotics Situational Awareness Display, an on-board software which helps astronauts manipulates the robotics arm on the Space Shuttle.
Dr. Izygon has served as a Research Scientist at the University of Houston Energy Lab where he developed graphic applications and implementation of Artificial Intelligence techniques for complex scientific code diagnostics.
Dr. Izygon received his BS with a concentration in Chemical Engineering from INSCIR Rouen in 1980, a MS in electrochemistry from Universite Paris VII, and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris, France. He is an associate member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He has served as mentor and trainer in Object-Oriented technology for numerous high profile mission-critical projects at the NASA-Johnson Space Center. Currently, Dr. Izygon is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston - Clear Lake School of Natural and Applied Sciences, where he teaches several classes on Software Engineering. |
