Michael Wixom, Ph.D. Chief Scientist and Senior Vice President is a company principal and has been the lead investigator on several programs to develop advanced electrode materials for lithium batteries, ultracapacitors, and fuel cells. Dr. Wixom is a physical chemist with extensive industrial experience in materials invention, development and management. He is a co-inventor on several patents assigned to T/J for fuel cell catalysts as well as for electrode materials and processing for rechargeable lithium batteries and ultracapacitors. He earned his bachelors degree at Cornell University and his doctorate in physical chemistry at the University of Michigan. He was a senior research scientist at KMS Fusion, Inc. and then a Project Manager at the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences. He has managed R & D programs with GM, Ford, TI, AT&T, and United Technologies. Dr. Wixom leads T/J Technologies' contracts procurement and intellectual property efforts, in addition to creating innovative technologies. |
