Dr. Williams became a Corporate Vice President of the Company in October 2006 and has been General Manager of the Companion Animal Instrument and Consumables business since 2004. Effective February 1, 2007, Dr. Williams has also supervised the OPTI Medical Systems business. Dr. Williams joined IDEXX in January of 2003 as Vice President and General Manager of the Company’s chemistry instruments and consumables business. Prior to joining IDEXX, Dr. Williams worked as a Senior Research Associate at the Scripps Research Institute, Department of Vascular Biology, for several years and then joined McKinsey & Company for seven years as a health care strategy consultant.
Dr. Williams received his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom, and his doctorate in biochemistry from Wadham College, University of Oxford, United Kingdom. |
