Whitmer joined Hudson North America as CIO in 2006, a role specifically created in recognition of the tremendous impact efficient systems and processes have on the company’s growth plans. He has a strong background integrating technology into business operations and managing complex enterprise technology, from infrastructure to applications all areas of responsibility that he will also direct at Hudson.
Whitmer’s professional achievements include a multi-million dollar PeopleSoft implementation; the architecture of multiple reporting, analysis, customer contact and data warehousing platforms; and the integration of mergers and acquisitions. He also has significant staffing industry experience, having managed a 100+ member technology department supporting over $1.9 billion in revenue and more than 50,000 external resources on a weekly basis.
As VP of Information Services for Spherion Corporation, Whitmer led the Applications Solutions, Field Technology, and Technology Strategy organizations for Spherion's Staffing and Professional groups. Previously, he served as Director of Technology Strategy for software and services firm Witness Systems, and he also has experience as a manager, senior consultant, and technical architect with firms such as Turner Broadcasting Systems, MCI and AT&T.
Combining senior leadership skills with deep technical expertise, Mike has a clear understanding of the complexity of staffing processes and the role that strong internal systems play in supporting client and consultant needs, as well as driving results. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from West Georgia College. |
