Mr. Michael Tsai is Senior Associate VP and was appointed to GM of Information Technology Business Group in 2008, covering Desktop Business Unit, Notebook PC Business Unit and General Display Business Unit. Tsai joined AUO in 1997 in charge of material management and procurement, and then promoted to Director of Suzhou module plant. In Suzhou he was responsible for material management for 3 years, where he successfully built up supply chain and foster vendors. In 2005 Mr. Tsai returned to Taiwan to take the post of Associate VP of procurement division, and was appointed to Senior Associated VP of IT Display Manufacturing in 2007.
Tsai graduated from National Cheng Kung University with a degree in Business Management. |
