Mr. Tiedemann is responsible for the oversight of all facets of the asset allocation, investment strategy and manager selection processes at Tiedemann Trust Company. Michael oversees both the initial stages of the quantitative and qualitative evaluation of investment managers and the continuous monitoring and evaluation of managers and their performance.
Michael began his career working within the Tiedemann Investment Group, assisting the Emerging Markets fund manager with research on Latin America. He then joined Banco Garantia in May of 1994, a leading Brazilian investment bank, and lived in Brazil while working in the equity research department. Upon his return to New York, Michael headed up the sales and trading for their top-ranked Brazilian equity brokerage division. In August 1998, he moved to Credit Suisse First Boston, when the two banks merged. He remained at CSFB as Vice President, heading up the sales trading efforts for all of Latin America and other Emerging markets until March of 2000.
Mr. Tiedemann graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. |
