Dr. Stanchev has PhDs from both Kharkiv National University and Sofia University. He is a professor of International Economy and Foreign affairs at Kharkiv National University. He has held posts in the Kharkiv Aviation Institute, the Kharkiv municipal administration, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ukrainian Embassy in Bulgaria, and the Kharkiv Regional Administration. At the Kharkiv Regional Administration he lead the department of international and external economic contacts and developed a program to enhance the Kharkiv region’s export potential, concepts for border cooperation and foreign investment attraction, and implemented cooperation projects in Ukraine with the US Academy of International Business, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, World Bank, United Nations, and European Commission. Dr. Stanchev has received numerous awards for his work in international economics and international relations. |
