Michael Solitt attended the Washington College of Law at American University in the late 1980’s and in 1988 was admitted to the Florida Bar. For the next three years he served as general counsel and vice president for a privately held corporate acquisition and real estate development company in Tampa. In 1992 he joined MetroGas, Inc. as the company’s general manager and eventually helped sell the company to one of the nation’s largest industrial gas distributors. In 1996, Mr. Solitt became the general manager of Young Oil Company in Pompano Beach, Florida. He has helped pilot the company through a number of technological advancements including automatic remote tank gauging, a computerized automated bulk liquids delivery system for its fleet of tank wagons, and other forward-thinking achievements. He also helped negotiate and implement several mergers and acquisitions for the company. |
