Michael Silverman, founder and chief executive officer of Duo Consulting, has over 20 years experience as an entrepreneur, executive, and innovator. Michael began his career in 1982 when he founded PinDot Products, a manufacturer of products for people with disabilities. An early and enthusiastic adaptor to new technologies, Michael championed computer aided design and manufacturing in the development of the company's products. Over the next decade the company secured multiple patents and won numerous awards for its unique products and processes. In 1995 Michael sold PinDot to Invacare Corporation, the leading international manufacturer of medical equipment. Michael stayed with Invacare until 1997 when he created his first Internet business, and in 1999 founded what would become Duo Consulting. Initially Duo focused on helping entrepreneurs with the creation of new Internet-based businesses. When the market changed in early 2000 Michael successfully transformed the company into the professional consultancy it remains today. Michael has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a BA in Physiology from Southern Illinois University. |
