Michael Rogers as Interim Executive Vice President of Power Operations oversees Calpine's 25 000-megawatt operating portfolio of clean efficient and reliable natural gas-fired power plants. He is also responsible for Calpine's extensive safety health and environmental programs engineering project development program construction and fuel diversification activities. Mr. Rogers has served with Calpine since 2001 in both operations and development and has previous experience in power plant operations control area operations and energy trading with Pacific Gas and Electric Company including positions as Plant Engineer Supervisor of Maintenance Plant Manager Manager of Grid Operations and Director of Generation Portfolio Management. Mr. Rogers was also COO of the Calpine Power Income Fund in Canada from 2005 until the Fund's sale in 2007. Mr. Rogers is a graduate of the University of California at Davis with a degree in chemical engineering. |
