Mike Rodriquez has practiced municipal law since 1987 with an emphasis in labor and employment and land use. He has successfully represented a number of cities, including San Leandro, Stockton and Sonoma in disciplinary appeals, both at the administrative level and in Superior Court. He currently serves as city attorney for the cities of Gonzales and Soledad, redevelopment agency counsel for Gonzales and Soledad, and is district counsel for the Moss Landing Harbor District.Mike received both his B.S. (1981) and his J.D. (1986) degrees from the University of California at Berkeley. He is currently serving on the Legal Advocacy Committee for the League of California Cities. He previously served on the Editorial Board for the League of California Cities' California Municipal Law Handbook, which oversees the annual update and editing of the handbook. Mike has taught Legal Writing at the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall) and has served as an instructor for the Alameda Independent Living Skills Program where he taught legal rights and principles to emancipated minors. |
