Michael Rice a native of Mill Valley California and current resident of San Anselmo California heads the Small Business Lending Division that offers these products through Tamalpais Bank's retail branches and its wholesale network. Prior to joining Tamalpais Bank Rice was Sonoma National Bank's Regional VP handling Small Business and commercial lending in Marin San Francisco and San Jose for 1 1/2 years. Before that he was Senior VP Division Manager for Goleta National Bank's West Coast lending Division for 4 years. Previous to that he was West Coast Small Business Sales Manager for SBA and commercial real estate for Associates Commercial Corporation. He was a former board member of Bay Area Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders served on the Loan committee for SAFE BIDCO State guaranteed loan program and was a past Treasurer and Board Member of the San Rafael Rotary. A 20-year veteran of SBA and commercial lending to small business and real estate projects Rice has managed credit operations and sales functions for both SBA Divisions and Equipment Financing Divisions. |
