Mike brings more than 20 years of insurance experience with industry-leading companies to Cat Insurance. As the president of Caterpillar's captive insurance group, he has responsibility for Caterpillar Insurance Holdings Inc., Caterpillar Insurance Services Corp., Caterpillar Product Services Corp. and other legal entities that support the sale and service of Caterpillar machines and engines.
He comes to Caterpillar from CNA in Atlanta, where as Chief Underwriting Officer he was responsible for workers compensation, general liability and auto results. He was Managing Vice President at Swett & Crawford in Atlanta for eight years, and has held leadership positions at Wausau Insurance and Industrial Indemnity.
With Mike's strong background in Property and Casualty lines of business, Cat Insurance will look to increase the number and scope of programs it writes for Caterpillar Inc.
He is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and an Associate in Risk Management. Mike has a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Denver and a Master's of Business Administration from St. Mary's of Moraga, Calif. |
