Mr. Rapisand possesses over twenty years of diverse financial management experience in roles with ever increasing levels of responsibility. He began his career in a Big 4 public accounting firm and has worked for both public and private world-class companies. These organizations are a dynamic mix of high growth and development stage companies that were technology and manufacturing based. In his most recent role before Xplore Technologies, Mike was the Chief Financial Officer of TippingPoint Technologies, Inc, a publicly traded (NasdaqNM: TPTI) network-based security hardware manufacturer emerging from development stage with initial sales. He was responsible for all finance, legal, human resources, facilities and information technology activities. World-class companies Mr. Rapisand has also worked for include Dell Inc., PepsiCo, Inc. and the aforementioned KPMG. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, with a B.B.A in Accounting in December 1981 and is an active Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas. |
